![]() I am actually not a fan of that slight change to the model since it means gear doesn’t really cap at Level 60. ![]() No amount of mtx will let me keep up with that. People that do both will stay ahead but the gear im finding at Paragon 5 is already 10% stronger than at Level 60 and the hardcore players are already at Paragon 20+. Someone that grinds 24/7 is going to be excessively stronger than someone that plays 30 minutes a night and buys a legendary gem for $5k. On topic, as far as mtx go, it’s kind of becoming clear the bigger gate for most is a time investment since gear scales with paragon level so that is going to be a larger driver of character growth than the legendary gems. The MMO-lite aspects of being able to join parties through chat, etc, are amazing. There’s nothing complex about them and they actually allow for super quick navigation through all aspects of the game. The in game party system, chat, missions, and map are all super intuitive, albeit overly aggressive. The menus take getting used to but hours is such a ridiculous statement, my 3 year old could have it down in that time. ![]() As a self claimed Diablo vet…that’s surprising. You didn’t even make it to the Shadow portion of the game because 3 levels of grinding to progress, in a Diablo game no less, was excessive to you. The mtx argument is enough, you don’t need to continually convince yourself it is a bad game, because you’ve been trying hard to do that in the OT when your complaints are largely points of strength made by other people in the OT. You don’t need to be hyperbolic about menus, image clarity, and phone controls, all of which are actually very good aspects of the game.
